The Revolutionary Tribes Story
At the inaugural meeting of Women in DSO (WinDSO) in Las Vegas, Amol Nirgudkar, Patient Prism’s co-founder and CEO, interviewed Jodi Evans who is the founder and CEO of Revolutionary Tribes, an executive coaching and training group that works with DSOs and dental group practice leaders who want to grow.
“Like a lot of people, I fell into dentistry,” says Evans. “I didn't necessarily start there or think that I would stay here. I followed my husband to work one day and said, ‘Wow, there are a lot of problems here to solve. I think that's interesting.’ And then after three days, he said, ‘Why don't you get a job here instead of just following me to work?’ And so, I did. That's really how my journey started.”
In her role as COO, she had an opportunity to start working with some acquisitions. “There were executive teams coming in, and it was my role to help train them. I became excited about working with these new executives. And so, I decided to launch my own company called Revolutionary Tribes, where we help CEOs step into their unique superpowers and the superpowers of their team.”
Her personal energy and gifts as an encourager and strategic thinker have attracted numerous clients.
Among these are CEOs who want to grow a tribe of people around them. They typically have two to three locations, possibly more. They want to scale and know they can no longer be the only one who is leading their vision. They know they need a tribe, and hence the reason for my company’s name –Revolutionary Tribes.” -Jodi Evans, Founder & CEO of Revolutionary Tribes
Coaching CEOs and Teams to Operationalize Their Superpowers
Revolutionary Tribes builds a custom, strategic plan for each client to help them scale their vision and get to where they want to go but coaching the CEOs, leaders, and team members to recognize and show up in their superpowers is where Revolutionary Tribes begins.
“I really believe it all starts with who you are as a leader. And who is around you,” says Evans. “This is how I think about it. You've got to see people first.” The strengths they show up with are a platform she says. “You’ve got to give people a systemized way to show up in their superpowers.”
“One of the hardest things to do is operationalize your vision and core values within your existing and changing ecosystem of people,” says Nirgudkar.
Evans refers to “the people” as one of the platforms of a business. “Today, we speak of platforms that enable businesses to scale. We talk about having a winning platform, but we also need a system that brings today and the future together, and that system starts with the people.”
Evans says, “People are more afraid of stepping into the challenging roles than they are of staying safe, where they are, where they're confident. By helping people see their superpowers and then challenging them to step into them has created more opportunities for them. I found in my career people who were growing or had opportunities to grow but would hesitate because they weren't quite sure if they were ready. I think this is why I feel in alignment with WinDSO’s efforts to elevate women as leaders in DSOs and to be seen.”

Patient Prism Delivers Actionable Intelligence
Patient Prism’s artificial intelligence (A.I.) incorporates machine learning to provide deep insights into dental patient phone calls and conversion analytics.
Managers can easily see how many people asked about implants, the percentage booked, and the revenue opportunity won or lost.- They can see how many people said they had Delta Dental PPO or spoke Spanish.
- They can see how many called in pain with emergency needs.
- They can see how many prospective patients did not book due to the unavailability of near appointments.
- They can determine if team members are uninformed about advertised promotions, don’t know how to respond well to financial questions, or are so pressed for time they fail to demonstrate empathy for callers’ concerns.
It's really quite simple. Patient Prism's dashboards provide unique insight as to what exactly is happening on the phones in any dental practice, including DSO or enterprise dashboards that include all practices' strengths and opportunities in one view.
These insights help managers identify where to expand services, better coach team members, increase staffing during peak hours, consider participation with an insurance provider, and adjust marketing.
